SUNA is a member-driven neighborhood association rooted in historic Southside Asheville. We organize, connect residents to resources, and build shared plans that strengthen community power and belonging.
How we work
Member-driven and resident-centered
SUNA is a neighborhood “container” for resident leadership, coordination, and action. We create space for neighbors to set priorities together, then work with partners to move from vision to implementation.
Shared understanding leads to coordinated action
Through resident-led engagement and community forums, we build the shared power and collective plans necessary to strengthen community power and belonging in historic Southside.
